You get to Felitto, in the heart of the Cilento National Park
Canyoning, or canyoning, is a sport that allows for jumps, slides
(tobogganing) and calm swims to traverse the riverbed while having fun in an absolutely spectacular and unspoilt landscape. The route includes a walk along the path that runs along the Calore river until reaching the Pietratetta bridge. Canyoning is an activity in close contact with wild and unexplored nature, a very enjoyable sport that offers the possibility of descending into the depths of the canyon, into the karstic and inaccessible ravines of the river. This is a free descent of the river, equipped with a wetsuit, life jacket, helmet and boots (equipment is provided by the organisation).
The itinerary starts from the picnic area in the Remolino di Felitto SA locality. On the way up the river on foot along the path running alongside the gorges for a couple of kilometres with the equipment on your back. After an initial briefing given by the guides, you descend into the water and walk along the riverbed. In the deep sections, it is pleasant to let yourself be carried away by the current, swim and dive into the bubbling waters. The walk takes about 4 hours and we return to the starting point at the Remolino picnic area.
Cost: Euro 45 per person includes: expert guide, equipment hire
equipment provided: wetsuit, boots, life jacket and helmet

The activity is accessible to those with basic physical fitness.
