The Cilento Coast in southern Campania is your ideal destination for a boating and walking vacation. This fascinating 100-kilometer-long stretch of coastline, suspended between sea and mountains in the province of Salerno, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers unique, unspoiled landscapes with cliffs, caves and secret beaches accessible only by boat, picturesque fishing villages and important archaeological evidence.
The “Trek & Boat” excursion along the Cilento Coast from Agropoli to Sapri combines two experiences: treks along the area's scenic trails interspersed with boat trips to explore its marine wonders, or vice versa.
Here is how our trip will unfold:
Trekking:We will use the trekking trails as a link from port to port, enjoying in full the spectacular coastal and sea views offered by the Cilento trails During the trek, you can enjoy the natural beauty of the area, admire the local flora and fauna, and breathe in the fresh sea air.
Boat: Cilento is one of the most striking areas of Campania, offering clear sea, enchanting villages and archaeological parks rich in history, and one of the best ways to discover it is definitely by boat. We couldn't let you miss this experience! Sailing with an experienced captain, you will explore the most beautiful places along the Cilento coast, from Baia degli Infreschi to Cala Monte di Luna, from Cape Palinuro.
Snorkeling: snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. This will give you an up-close look at the marine life and underwater wonders of the area.

TOUR PROGRAM:
DAY 1:AGROPOLI - SANTAMARCO Trek
Morning arrival in Agropoli. Meeting with the guide at Baia Trentova at 9:45 am. Activities start at 10 a.m.
The Tresino hill in Agropoli is a nature lover's paradise in Cilento. Routes of increasing difficulty with breathtaking views of the sea,
hill rich in history.
In the 6th century B.C. on the promontory of Tresino, according to Strabo, stood the temple dedicated to Poseidon of the city of Trezene, erected by the Trezenians to protect nearby Poseidonia. During our planned one-way excursion to Santa Maria di Castellabate, we will get to see several peculiarities that this hill hides.
Once we arrive in Santa Maria di Castellabate we will continue on foot to the nearby village of San Marco di Castellabate where our day will end.

DAY 2:SANMARCO - ACCIAROLI - CANNICCHIO Boat & Trek
BOAT
Breakfast at the facility and off we go for the second day. This time the day begins with a leisurely boat excursion from the Port of San Marco di Castellabate. On our excursion this day we will see one of the most beautiful and evocative stretches of the Cilento coastline, Punta Licosa.
PUNTA LICOSA, a place that inspired the myth of the siren Leucosia and the site of the ancient Greek city of Leukothèa. Late morning arrival at the Port of Acciaroli and disembarkation.
TREK
The day does not end here, but we will pick up our backpacks and reach the village of Cannicchio for accommodation.
The route starts from the sea to go up the hills, as the navy inhabitants were forced to do when they fled because of repeated Saracen raids, finding shelter in the fief of Cannicchio.

DAY 3: CANNICCHIO - CASALVELINO MARINA Trek
Breakfast at the facility. Backpacking and off we go for the third day. After appreciating the wonderful village of Cannicchio leave for our trek that will take us to Casavelino.
Walks here will take you slowly through hills covered with majestic centuries-old olive trees, chestnut and beech groves. Making it all the more spectacular is the Mediterranean scrub vegetation, made up of intoxicating colors and scents, ranging from broom to arbutus, juniper to heather.

VELIA OPTION - GUIDED TOUR OF THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK
On this day there is the possibility for those who wish to visit the nearby archaeological park of Velia
Packed lunch by the participants. Following accommodation in the facility. Dinner in a restaurant.
DAY 4: CASALVELINO MARINA - PALINURO - CAMEROTA Boat & Trek
BOAT
Breakfast at the facility and depart from the port of Casalvelino for a pleasant boat excursion that will take us to Palinuro. On our excursion this day we will see Along the way the seaside village of Pisciotta.
Once in Palinuro we will enter the striking Blue Grotto where we will be able to admire its unique colors.
Continuing south, we encounter the Architiello (or finestrella) formation created by wind erosion; then the scoglio del coniglio, a small islet reminiscent of the friendly animal.
Continuing along the coast, we will stop at the famous Buondormire Bay, a stupendous ravine set between sheer cliffs. Next we will come across the Natural Arch, a masterpiece of nature created over the millennia by rock erosion.
TREK
The day does not end here, but we will pick up our backpacks and reach the village of Camerota for accommodation. Starting from Palinuro we will take the path that runs along the Lambro River, passing through the Natural Arch and continuing to the Mingardo River.

DAY 5: CAMEROTA - POZZALLO BEACH - SAPRI Trek & Boat
TREK
Breakfast at the facility. Backpacking and off we go for day 5. After appreciating the wonderful village of Camerota we will set off on our trek to Pozzallo Bay. On our way we will pass through Lentiscosa, famous for its particular typical product, Il Maracuoccio.
The Maracuoccio of Lentiscosa is a pea-like legume, considered an ancestor of chickling peas. Once dried, the seeds are ground and processed into flour that is consumed in the form of polenta.
Our hike continues on the Mediterranean Trail in Marina di Camerota also extends to the beautiful Pozzallo Bay, which is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches in Cilento.

BOAT
Having arrived in Pozzallo, the day does not end here, but we will reach the town of Sapri by boat for accommodation. Baia Pozzallo is a pebble and stone beach with crystal clear waters and unspoiled nature, surrounded by cliffs and lush vegetation.
In just a few kilometers of coastline to Sapri are concentrated coves, small beaches, underwater springs and caves of karst origin, all framed by Mediterranean scrub and precious endemic species that enchant the eye and invite you to dive into the blue sea of the Cilento coast.
