TREKKING - Difficulty "Hiking" 5.2 km
This Itinerary is based on the importance of water understood as a gift.
The itinerary starts from the village of San biase, retracing one of the most important communication routes of antiquity, the Salt Route, which runs almost entirely through the valley created by the Palistro stream.
This route was already used by the Greeks of Elea-Velia. The hiker will be able to relive and
walk the ancient paths immersed in the striking river environment of the Palistro, home to countless animal and plant species.
We will first reach the water spring called "L'acqua ca Vodde," where we will take
a first break sitting in the shade of centuries-old chestnut trees. Then we will begin the descent to a second spring called "Ferrante," where the iron-rich water has always been considered indispensable for a supply of mineral salts such as copper, lithium, magnesium, zinc, sodium and iodine.
Eventually we will reach the water spring called "Sorfegna," sulfur water with countless properties and benefits for the body and digestive system.

Are recommended, Trekking shoes
Sports clothing in layers, towel , possible change of shirt.
It is recommended to bring at least 1 liter of water, or other favorite soft drinks and beverages, fruit to taste, snack, sandwich or other food to taste.
We also recommend insect repellent spray and raincoat.
