TOUR PROGRAMME
Day 1 Paestum & Farm CAVALLO
By own means of transportPaestum- first stop of Tasty Cheese Cilento.
arrive at the meeting point in Paestum at 3 pm.
Visit to the Paestum Archaeological Park with its marvellous Temples and National Museum
Guided cheese tasting at Cavallo farm- In Goat we Trust.
departure to Ceraso arrive to Azienda Agricola „La Petrosa“.
check in and accommodation dinner with traditional seasonal dishes.
Overnight stay.
Day 2 Cilento Coast & farm CICCO DI BUONO
Cilento local breakfast
Departure to Palinuro or Marina di Camerota by collective group transfer at the port for boat tour* (duration approx. 2h).
The journey into the world of cheese continues at the Cicco Di Buono farm for an aperitif/lunch with Cilento cheeses.
In the afternoon, guided tour of the Archaeological Park of Elea-Velia. From the southern quarter of the Greco-Roman city, we will climb up to the Acropolis, where there are two exhibitions, the theatre and the ancient mediaeval tower, and visit Porta Rosa, the oldest example of a round arch in Europe.
Return to “La Petrosa” country dinner with traditional seasonal dishes

Day 3 Mozzarella in "the mortella" and ONAF guided tasting
Rich Cilento local breakfast
Third day of the Tasty Cheese Tour at La Petrosa with an experiential workshop on mozzarella cheese “nella mortella”, the typical mozzarella wrapped in myrtle leaves.Guided tasting of farmhouse cheeses
Sunday lunch at the farm
Coffee and shopping in the country shop.
