The trip begins with a visit to Elea Velia, the city of Parmenides, the pre-Socratic philosopher who lived in ancient Greece in the 6th century B.C.
The tour continues on to Stella Mount to the area containing megaliths arranged in ritual or ceremonial forms and which were used in antiquity for religious or ceremonial purposes.

Morning arrival in Ascea Marina. Meeting with the guide at the ticket office of the Archaeological Park of Velia, beginning at 10.00 AM VISIT TO THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK OF ELEA VELIA

MOUNT OF STELLA - CIRCUIT OF SAN MAURO CILENTO
The fulcrum of the Cilento area, Monte della Stella (1130 m a.s.l.) rises a few kilometres from the coast, between the two Greek cities of Poseidonia and Elea, in the middle of the "Ancient Cilento". We will walk towards the path leading to the summit, passing through the Castelluccio and the sacred area of the megaliths, which has always been a ritual stage, to propitiate the summit like the pilgrims of the past....
