A full day to visit two different but unique Greek cities in the National Park of Cilento: VELIA (morning)& PAESTUM (afternoon)

PROGRAMME:
MORNING (09:00 AM) Elea Archaeological Park - Velia: Meeting the guide at the ticket office of the site.
The walk tour starts from the southern quarter, the lower part of the ancient Greek city of Elea, to Porta Rosa, famous for its distinctive architecture. The tour ends on the top of the hill, the Acropolis, where you can admire the view and the Tower, the remains of the Temple of Athena and two small exhibitions stand.

AFTERNOON (3.30 PM) Paestum Archaeological Park: Meeting the guide at the ticket office of the site.
The walk tour starts from the temples still intact, throughout the city. The visit continues to the Archaeological Museum** to admire the Tomb of the “tuffatore” (the Diver).

FROM 15 June to 15 September 2023
By virtue of Decree Law no. 61 of 1 June 2023, containing 'Urgent measures to deal with the emergency caused by flooding events occurring from 1 May 2023', admission tickets to the Archaeological Park of Paestum and Velia will increase by 1 euro.
