This is the message left on a piece of canvas and introduced in a bottle, capped with sealing wax, that the sailor Francesco Chirico entrusted to the sea, a last touching thought for his mother and for the homeland. The bottle sailed for 11 years in the Mediterranean and then landed on the beach of Villa Simius, near Cagliari, in 1952 .....
