Calore River and the environment that surrounds it are surely the main naturalistic attractions. The narrow and deep gorges situated along the Calore River form today a protect area, classified by the European Union as a site of common interest. It's an environment completely wild, with some naturalistic aspects very interesting geologically, botanically and faunally.
The route includes a suggestive walk through a tracks that runs along the Calore River until to reach the bridge Pietra Tetta.

Visit the old village:Roscigno.
It is a ghost town of the early 20th century that keep its original urban structure. Built on an unstable ground and often subject to landslides, Roscigno forced his population to leave the village in 1902. Today it is an open-sky museum that bring you to the soul of a lost rural community.
Departure by bus at 8:30.

15.00 visit to the abandoned town "The Pompei of the '900'
